Turath is a biannual scientific journal published by the Center of Research in Social and Cultural Anthropology (CRASC), Algeria. It is an open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal.
The journal aims to provide a platform for reflection and study on intangible cultural productions, exploring their anthropological, cultural, artistic, linguistic, architectural, and historical dimensions. Chaque numéro thématique présente les résultats d’un travail collectif d’abord mené à l’intérieur du laboratoire éponyme, puis du Centre d’Études des Mondes Africains (CEMAf, UMR 8171) ainsi que dans le cadre des enseignements d’ethnologie des religions africaines à la Ve section de l’École Pratique des Hautes Études (Paris).
