Komunitas: International Journal of Indonesian Society and Culture
publishes original articles on issues arising at changing patterns in
the analysis of ethnic groups, social classes, religions, personal
networks, changes in mass culture, technologies of communication and
their social impact on the changing order of public and private life of
Indonesian society and culture. The journal nurtures creative and
innovative approaches in sociology and anthropology, among others by
welcoming the intersection of various disciplines with sociological and
