Lud, Polish Ethnological Society

Lud is a renown  scholarly journal with over a century of history and a rich tradition that reflects the development of ethnology and cultural anthropology in Poland. Many generations of Polish ethnologists have marked the columns of Lud, both in the field of the ethnographic documentation of culture and in the sphere of theoretical-methodological analysis.Since its foundation  in 1895, Lud has been closely linked with the Polish Ethnological Society, an institution whose role in the development of Polish ethnology is invaluable. Since 1992, Lud is co-published by the Ethnological Sciences Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, which has further strengthened its position as a leading ethnological journal in Poland. ISSN 2719-8057
