The idea behind the “Lodz Ethnographic Studies” journal is to address recent developments in contemporary ethnology (anthropology) and to combine theory with practice. The journal contributes to current ethnologically grounded discussion on culture in its diverse aspects and meanings (theoretical, analytical, diagnostic and practical). “Lodz Ethnographic Studies” is on the list of scientific journals (Ministry of Science and Higher Education).
